Savar, October 26, 2025:
Chobighor organized a health awareness workshop titled “HealthWise: Education for Life” to promote health education among underprivileged residents of the Bank Town slum in Savar.

The workshop was conducted by Chobighor health educators Prince Ghosh (MBBS Graduate) and Rozana Binte Reza Ria (MBBS Graduate), who discussed key health issues including mental health, menstrual health, and child health in detail.

Health educator Rozana Binte Reza Ria emphasized the importance of child care, child well-being, and neonatal vaccination, saying,

“We are working to ensure the good physical and mental health of children so that families become more aware and proactive.”

Meanwhile, Prince Ghosh highlighted the significance of mental health, stating,

“Mental health is a crucial issue. Raising awareness about it is essential, and we must all be more conscious of this matter.”

The event was also attended by Chobighor’s Vice President, Mustafizur Rahman.
A local resident expressed gratitude for the initiative, saying,

“We hope more programs like this are organized so that we can learn more about health.”

The program concluded with the distribution of meals to all children present, combining health education with tangible community support.
